Our client is recruiting for a part-time Optometrist to join their friendly, well-supported team in Cheadle. This role is ideal for someone looking to work two weekdays in a collaborative environment that prioritises high-quality patient care.

Cheadle, located in Greater Manchester, is a popular and well-connected area that combines the charm of a suburban village with easy access to nearby cities. Known for its mix of historic character, green spaces, and local amenities, Cheadle is a desirable location for families, professionals, and commuters.

• Road Connections: Cheadle is close to major roadways like the M60 and M56 motorways, offering excellent road access to Manchester, Stockport, and surrounding areas.

• Trains: While Cheadle doesn’t have a railway station, nearby stations like Gatley and East Didsbury provide regular train services to Manchester, Stockport, and Manchester Airport.

• Bus Services: Cheadle has good bus links to Manchester city centre, Stockport, and surrounding towns, with services running regularly throughout the day.

• GOC Registration: Must be registered with the General Optical Council.

• 2-day week position.

• Right to Work: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

• Experience: Open to both newly qualified and experienced optometrists.

• Conduct routine eye exams to assess vision and eye health.

• Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses.

• Identify and manage common eye conditions.

• Educate patients on proper eye care practices.

• Collaborative Environment: Work with a supportive team dedicated to high standards of patient care.
