As a Dispensing Optician with our client, your responsibilities will include:

Dispensing eyewear: Using your expertise to help patients choose frames and lenses suited to their prescriptions, lifestyle, and preferences.

Optical services: Conducting pre-screening tests and taking measurements to ensure the correct fit of glasses or contact lenses.

Patient Care: Offering advice on lens types (single vision, bifocal, varifocal), coatings, and frame styles while explaining the best options for each individual’s needs.

Team Collaboration: Working closely with optometrists and other team members to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Customer service excellence: Providing outstanding customer care in a friendly and approachable manner, building strong relationships with patient

Qualification: You must be a fully qualified Dispensing Optician, registered with the GOC (General Optical Council).

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but we’re also happy to consider newly qualified candidates who are eager to learn and grow within the team

Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Personality: Friendly, approachable, and able to work well in a close-knit team environment.
