Our client is about development and being a family. They are looking to recruit a GOC registered Optometrist/Optician to join their team

  • Providing thorough sight tests to patients of all ages using the latest technology 

  • 5 min walk from the train station

  • Working closely with the Dispensing Optician and support team to ensure a smooth handover

  • Experienced staff will support you in your role

  • They utilise the latest equipment 

  • Managing a daily schedule of patients 

  • You will be working alongside another optometrist

  • OCT, Phoropter, and Autorefractor  

  • Being responsible for daily maintenance of test equipment  

  • To be a fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC

  • Excellent communication 

  • Be a team player

  • Having a good balance of patient care and commercial success

  • Ability to communicate well with patients

  • Work to high service standards, and you will be passionate about providing exceptional customer care 

  • The ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike

  •  WECS accredited but they will provide the course if not 

  • Proof of work in the UK

I’m not GOC registered yet; can I apply?

Yes, you can.

You will need to be GOC registered to work for our client as an Optometrist/Optician. Still, we can start the recruitment process ahead of the registration coming through and offers can be made upon receipt of your GOC number.
