Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Optometrist to join their growing team. As an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will collaborate with other experienced eye care professionals to provide exceptional care to all patients. The role involves delivering a wide range of eye care services, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.

Perform thorough eye exams to assess vision and detect eye conditions or diseases, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.

Diagnose refractive errors (e.g., myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism), eye infections, dry eyes, and other vision-related issues, and recommend appropriate treatments.

Provide prescriptions for eyeglasses, contact lenses, or other visual aids based on patients' eye exams.

Educate patients on proper eye care, vision health, and the use of prescribed eyewear or treatment plans.

Assist in clinical procedures, offering support to other healthcare professionals as required during patient treatments.

Keep detailed, accurate, and up-to-date patient records, including examination results, treatment plans, and prescriptions.

Manage Eye Health Conditions: Identify and manage early signs of ocular diseases, refer patients for specialised care when necessary, and ensure follow-up treatments.

Stay Updated on Industry Practices: Continuously update knowledge and skills by attending professional development courses and keeping up with the latest research in optometry and eye care technology.

Ideally, you’ll have a Minimum of 2 years experience as a GOC registered Optometrist.
