Optometrist - Brandon

We are recruiting an Optometrist to join our client team in Brandon. Are you an experienced Optometrist/Optician seeking a new opportunity?
The role entails conducting eye examinations and providing expert advice on visual problems.

Brandon is a quaint market town in Suffolk, located near the Norfolk border and surrounded by picturesque countryside. Known for its rich history, including its roots in flint mining and its proximity to Thetford Forest, Brandon offers a blend of rural charm and convenient amenities. It is a peaceful and welcoming town, making it a pleasant place to live and work

  • Brandon Railway Station is on the Breckland Line, providing direct services to:

    • Norwich: Approximately 35 minutes.

    • Cambridge: Around 40 minutes.

    • Ely: About 20 minutes.
      Trains are operated by Greater Anglia, offering good connections to London and the Midlands via Cambridge or Ely.

  • Brandon is well-connected by road:

    • The A1065 links the town to Thetford (about 15 minutes) and Swaffham.

    • The A11 nearby provides easy access to Norwich and Cambridge, and the M11 for travel to London.

  • Local bus services connect Brandon to surrounding villages, towns, and cities.

    • Regular routes link to Thetford, Bury St Edmunds, and Ely, making it possible to travel without a car.

  • Diagnosing and treating visual defects and ocular diseases.

  • Will consider part/full-time positions available

  • Advising and dispensing the most appropriate spectacles

  • Building rapport with patients and providing exceptional customer service

  • Working and supporting the wider team to ensure efficient and seamless operations.

  • You will be covering two practices in the area

  • Must be GOC registered or in the process of registering
