Optical Assistant Mobile - Croydon

 As an Optical Assistant working in the Surrey & Surrounding area, visiting patients in the comfort of their own homes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, has excellent customer service skills, and is passionate about helping people with their optical needs. You’ll play a vital role in providing personalized optical services, helping patients with eyewear selection, and frame adjustments, and offering general optical assistance in a home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Home Visits: Travel to patients’ homes to provide optical services such as frame fittings, adjustments, and repairs.

  • Frame Adjustments & Repairs: Perform adjustments, and offer minor repairs as necessary.

  • Patient Support: Provide high-quality customer service, building strong relationships with patients 

  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing stock of frames and lenses, ensuring patients have access to a wide selection of products.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, orders, and eyewear selections.

  • Discuss Services with Managers: Visit homes to liaise with managers, discuss the optical services being provided, and ensure everything is running smoothly and meeting patient needs

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience as an Optical Assistant is essential. 

  • Driving License: A full, clean driving license 

  • Communication Skills: Excellent v communication and interpersonal skills for establishing rapport with patients and clients.

  • Team Player: While you'll be working independently, you will also collaborate with head office staff.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, especially in handling eyewear adjustments and patient records.
