This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their journey as a Dispensing Optician, with the added responsibility of supporting multiple practices and ensuring the delivery of high-quality optical care. You will be key to upholding clinical standards, training new staff, and supporting existing team members across Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas.

  •  Provide cover to practices within Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas, ensuring that clinical standards are consistently maintained across all locations.

  • Regularly travel between different practices, providing support to staff and patients while ensuring the delivery of top-tier optical care.

  •  Assist patients in the selection of glasses, ensuring the correct frame and lens options are provided based on their prescription and lifestyle needs.

  •  Ensure the accurate fitting of lenses and make frame adjustments and repairs as required to ensure optimal comfort and vision.

  • Advise patients on lens types, coatings, and frame styles, providing recommendations based on the latest trends and individual patient preferences.

  • Manage patient eyewear orders, ensuring specifications are accurate and tracking the order until completion.

  •  Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient queries, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction with the final product.

  • Ensure that optical equipment and materials are kept in good working order, and stock levels of frames, lenses, and other optical products are consistently maintained.

  • Assist with vision tests and other clinical procedures as needed, ensuring that all patient information is recorded accurately and confidentially.

  • Full UK Driving Licence and comfortable commuting across Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and support both new and existing team members.

  •  Comfortable working in a dynamic, mobile role with a variety of patient needs across multiple locations.
