As the Lead Optometrist in Allerton, you will be overseeing a team of Optometrists and Pre-Registration Optometrists. You will work closely with the management team to drive the development of the practice and support the professional growth of the staff. This role combines leadership and hands-on clinical duties, where you will set an example of best practices in patient care while helping to shape the future of the practice.

  • Lead and mentor a team of Optometrists and Pre-Registration Optometrists, ensuring high standards of clinical care.

  • Provide comprehensive eye examinations and manage the full range of optometric services.

  • Work closely with the practice management team to develop and implement strategies to improve practice performance, staff training, and patient satisfaction.

  • Being part of the development of the team, providing coaching and constructive feedback.

  • Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and the smooth operation of the practice.

  • Lead by example, maintaining excellent patient care and clinical standards.

  • Support the recruitment and development of clinical staff, ensuring a collaborative and effective team environment.

  • Stay up to date with the latest optical technology and innovations.

  • GOC-registered Optometrist with a strong clinical background and experience in a leadership or mentoring role.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
