Domiciliary Optical Scheduler (Office-Based) - Leicester

We are recruiting for a Domiciliary Optical Scheduler to support a domiciliary optometry company. This is an office-based role where you will be part of a supportive team, working together to ensure the smooth scheduling of optometrist appointments and the coordination of spectacle deliveries. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential to ensure seamless operations.

  • Schedule appointments for optometrists, ensuring efficient time management.

  • Arrange the delivery of spectacles to patients.

  • Liaise with optometrists and optical assistants on the road via telephone and email.

  • Ensure teams have accurate schedules and necessary information.

  • Communicate and escalate issues when necessary to maintain smooth operations.

  • General administrative tasks to support the team.

  • Effectively communicate with senior managers and healthcare professionals.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Experience in supporting customers over the phone or face-to-face.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, or similar systems.

  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Organisational skills and the ability to multitask.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.

  • Office-based role in a supportive team environment.
