Our client is a well-established, patient-focused optical practice in Newmarket, offering high-quality eye care and a range of optical products. They are looking for a dedicated and professional Dispensing Optician to join their team and provide exceptional service to all patients.

• Assist patients in selecting the appropriate frames, lenses, and optical products based on their needs and preferences.

• Provide expert advice on lens options, coatings, and prescription requirements.

• Ensure accurate fitting and adjustments of glasses to ensure comfort and proper vision.

• Conduct pre-screening tests as required by the optometrist.

• Provide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and professional environment.

• Keep patient records updated and ensure confidentiality at all times.

• Work closely with optometrists and other team members to ensure high-quality care.

• Stay updated with the latest optical products, trends, and industry regulations.

• You’ll need to be a Qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).

• Excellent knowledge of optical products, lenses, and frame fitting techniques.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.

• Attention to detail and ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.
