You will be a key part of ensuring clinical standards are met, offering training, and supporting new and existing staff members.

  • Provide cover to practices within Basingstoke and surrounding areas, ensuring clinical standards are upheld.

  • Travel between practices, meeting staff and patients, and supporting the delivery of high-quality optical care.

  • Assist patients with the selection of glasses, ensuring correct frame and lens options based on their prescription and lifestyle needs.

  •  Ensure accurate lens fitting, providing frame adjustments and repairs as necessary to ensure optimal comfort and vision.

  •  Advise patients on lens types, coatings, and frame styles, offering recommendations based on current trends and patient preferences.

  •  Manage patient orders for eyewear, ensuring accurate specifications are submitted and tracking orders until completion.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient queries, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction with the final product.

  •  Keep optical equipment and materials in good working order and ensure stock levels of frames, lenses, and other optical products are maintained.

  • Assist with vision tests and other clinical procedures as needed, ensuring all patient information is recorded accurately and confidentially.

  • Full UK Driving Licence and comfortable commuting from the base branch in Basingstoke.

  • Ability to meet the diverse needs of staff members and patients in different locations.

  • Experience in Dispensing Optics and comfortable providing clinical support across multiple branches.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and support new and existing team members.
