Dispensing Optician - Cheadle

As a Dispensing Optician, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care, working closely with the Directors and the optical team to provide the highest standard of service. You will ensure that every patient receives tailored advice, expert knowledge, and a top-tier experience throughout their visit.

Oversee Patient Consultations: Ensure that every patient receives high-quality care and professional guidance during their consultation, from prescription interpretation to eyewear selection.
Assist Customers with Eyewear Selection: Help customers choose frames and lenses that suit their prescription, style, and preferences.
Accurate Measurements & Fitting: Take precise measurements and ensure eyewear is fitted correctly for comfort and optimal vision.
Lens Options & Guidance: Provide expert advice on lens options, coatings, and additional features, tailoring recommendations to each patient's needs.
Order Processing & Record Keeping: Process eyewear orders efficiently and maintain accurate records for all patient transactions.
Customer Education: Educate customers on proper eyewear care, lens maintenance, and cleaning to ensure the performance of their products.
Collaboration with Optometrists: Work alongside optometrists to ensure accurate prescription fulfilment and resolve any concerns related to patient care.
Stay Updated on Eyewear Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest eyewear technologies, trends, and product innovations to offer cutting-edge solutions to clients.
Qualified Dispensing Optician with relevant certification.
In-depth knowledge of eyewear products, lens options, and fitting techniques.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide tailored advice.
Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of dispensing and fitting.
Client Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
Commercially Focused: A strong understanding of business operations and a commitment to driving success and improving team performance.
