Dispensing Optician - Bridgwater

We are looking for a qualified and GOC-registered Dispensing Optician to become a valued member of our client's welcoming and supportive team. If you are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, they are eager for you to contribute to maintaining the highest standards of service for the community.

In this role, you will be a key part of ensuring every patient receives top-quality care and a positive experience.

  • Dispense and fit spectacles to patients according to their prescriptions

  • Provide expert advice to patients on frame and lens options to suit their needs, lifestyle, and budget

  • Assist in managing and maintaining the optical equipment and ensuring the highest levels of clinical care

  • Ensure that all patient information and records are maintained accurately and confidentially

  • Collaborate with a close-knit team to create an excellent customer-focused environment

  • Provide pre-screening services to patients

  • Offer professional guidance on eye care and products, ensuring patients understand their choices

  • Stay up to date with the latest optical technologies and innovations

  • Participate in professional development opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge

  • You’ll need to be a qualified and GOC registered Dispensing Optician

  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused attitude

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for providing exceptional patient care
