As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our client's patients receive outstanding service and expert advice. You will guide them through their eyecare journey, from understanding their needs to selecting eyewear that complements their vision and lifestyle. You will be a friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable individual who takes pride in delivering an exceptional client experience. You'll thrive in a modern, forward-thinking environment.

Provide exceptional customer service, building trust and meaningful relationships with clients.

Assist clients in choosing the perfect eyewear, offering expert advice on frames, lenses, and styling.

Perform pre-screening tests using modern diagnostic technology to support our Optometrists.

Manage administrative tasks, including appointment bookings, processing payments, and maintaining accurate client records.

Support the team by sharing your expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.

Ensure the practice remains welcoming, organised, and reflective of our high standards.

Stay informed about the latest eyewear trends, lens technologies, and industry developments.:

Previous experience in an optical role (e.g., Senior Optical Assistant, Dispenser, or Supervisor team leader)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on client satisfaction.

A keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in helping clients find eyewear that suits their style and needs.

Confidence in using modern optical equipment and pre-screening tools.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while mentoring and supporting other
